Manicurist Lauren Michelle Pires studied graphic design at Central Saint Martins, where her graduate show saw her headhunted by Louis Vuitton. Lauren has since transferred those skills to her precision and creativity as a nail artist, and her work has been showcased in publications such as Beauty Papers, Vogue Italia, AnOther and Dazed.
Alongside collaborating with photographers Harley Weir, Carlijn Jacobs, Charlotte Wales, Rafael Pavarotti and Mert & Marcus; she has worked with world-famous names including Kate Moss, Harry Styles, Kendall Jenner, Kendrick Lamar and Solange – who she has created custom nail shades for.
Lauren is known for the nails she creates for high-profile runway shows as she continuously develops new techniques, pushing the boundaries of nail art. In 2021, Lauren became the face of H&M Nails. She was also recognised as one of the New Wave Creatives at the British Fashion Awards, cementing her place as an innovative artist at the forefront of a rapidly growing field.
